Today has been a pretty good day, for my last one. I had to get up a little early to head into town with my mom and brothers to run some errands. We also went and painted some pottery while we were in town. I made a sushi plate, but I made it to hold my keys next year at my house in Indy. It's weird to think that I will have a house next year. I mean, I live in a house now, but we rent the part we live in, and it doesn't feel like ours. Next year, it will be my house. Crazy. But at least now I have a key plate.

After that, we came home and I haven't really done anything since then. Ghost Hunters has been on TV for a couple hours, but I haven't even really moved from the couch. Then again, it's my last day, and I had no plans and I really don't feel like doing much. That's why I like to come home for break. I literally do nothing for 10 days. Blissful.

Tomorrow I'll spend the whole day in the car, and then it's my friend Katherine's 22nd birthday, so I'm supposed to call her and we'll go out to celebrate. Her birthday has always been during Spring Break, so most of us have never celebrated with her. It should be fun, nonetheless.

I kind of wonder if I will regret not doing anything with my friends for break, as it's my last one. Not that I had any money to go anywhere, and really everyone made their own plans to go separate ways (which has been the general pattern of our group of friends this year and semester). But it would have been fun to do something with them. We'll have to plan something in a few years when we all have time and money, I guess. I also wish that Ian and I had done something, just because I know we would have had a really good time, but with the trouble that we were having before break and the space we really both needed, it was probably good that we didn't plan something. I'm hoping that he visits in Alaska, and comes for his Fall Break next year to Indy just to visit. Anyway, I'm getting way off track.

Let's be thankful this break, eh?
All of the money my parents spent for good meals and good clothes and good times. New windshield wipers and fixing my windshield wiper fluid sprayer. Costco's berry smoothie. Toobing out. Kefir at the General Store. Emailing with my friends to keep in good touch. And, well, always, Ian and my family.
